Fin Ministry fulfills 2022, 2042 Eurobond liabilities in dollars

MOSCOW, Apr 29 (PRIME) -- The Russian Finance Ministry has fulfilled its liabilities on the 2022 and 2042 Eurobonds in U.S. dollars, the ministry said in a statement on Friday.

The ministry paid a U.S. $564.8 million Eurobond due in 2022 coupon and an $84.4 million Eurobond due in 2042 coupon. The money arrived to the agent Citibank, N.A., London Branch.

"The payments were made in the currencies of issuance of the Eurobonds, the U.S. dollars. This way the obligations to service sovereign Eurobonds are fulfilled in accordance with the conditions set by the issuance documents," the ministry said.
